Day 22 Lego Calendar Plus

Seriously! Day 22!

A funny thing happened...Xyra misplaced her blue notebook and the turn list AGAIN, but we remembered it right this time. She found the book and list in her car and confirmed it.

Hidden Behind Door 22...

Door 22 is the last door to open in the fourth column. It's right under Liza's room where she and Andrea have been hanging out.
Let's see what we find today.
Okay...not sure what this is. A drink stand maybe?

Lots of pieces. I wonder which will be extras.
I really like the clear bricks; they remind me of stained glass.
Done. I added the extra flower stool on the other end, but there is nothing to do with the extra caps.

I definitely have ideas for after Christmas in the monthly calendar builds.
Could also be a carnival game and the extra caps are pucks you throw to try and knock down the bottles. What do you think?

Advent Tea #11

Yikes! Look at how empty the tea box is. After today only two more teabags to steep.
The eleventh tea is a Himalaya blend. The website describes it as "...a very old tea recipe that captures the meditative energy of the majestic Himalayas.  Fennel and spicy ginger give this classic chai an intriguing flavour and rich aroma.  The addition of warm sweet cinnamon, anise, and coriander make it especially delicious.  Enjoy in the Indian tradition: sweetened and with a little milk or milk substitute. The essence of this tea is: 'Balance and openness'."
The blend includes ginger, fennel, cinnamon, anise, coriander, cinnamon oil, ginger oil, and liquorice.
Like the previous few teas this one is also steeped for 7 minutes.
Into the teapot you go.
Now to set the timer for 7 minutes and relax.
(timer beeps)
Done!
The tea is gold in color.
Smells spicy. Not hot spicy, but like when you're baking spicy.
Plain is okay, but it does seem to be lacking something.
Now that I've added the suggested sugar and milk...
This is better. The ginger does stand out. The other spices blend well with the ginger so it isn't too powerful. Like if you've ever had sushi and tried the pickled ginger. That is powerful!

Overall, this is a nice tea.
Almost a little bland despite all the spices. I like it. When we tried it yesterday, Lanie described it as "meh" so she passed on her second cup today.

Best wishes! Have a Nice Day!
