Pull Up a Chair

Kira's Comfy Camping Accessories

I'm not one for collecting too much furniture for the Tea Time crew.  That just takes up so much space.  However, now and then a set screams out to be added to my collection...like this one.  I have to admit a nice rewards certificate and the offer of triple rewards points did help.

An Overview

Everything comes neatly packed in this lovely box.
The rug is really pretty and the pillow is adorable!
I wish the tag were on the bottom, not the side - easier to tuck under for photos.  I had to rescue it from Mr. Bubbles (our house rabbit).  He has a stuffed pyramid he likes to pick up and bang around and he took a liking to this too. ARGH!
The rug really goes well with our chosen color scheme.
The design is printed not woven through. A nice heavy fabric.  I had to rescue it from Bubbles too.
THANK YOU!  Setting for two! Two leaf plates, fruit bowls, slices of toast, and cold drinks.
The plant is a bit ho hum.  I've seen more realistic faux plants at Target, but it is cute!  The lantern really works.  I left put the battery tag back in place to save them.  It takes three of those little ones you use in a laser pointer.
The hexagonal table is lovely!  Yes, it's resin, but looks like wood. Plenty of room for everything plus!

Now let's talk about the chairs. Wow!  They fold flat.  Are resin but look like composite wood.  Are solid, completely functional, and adjustable as reclining camp chairs.  The style is the same as the chairs Snoopy fights with at Thanksgiving, but these don't bite. 😄

So what do you think, Mel?
Oh, I like this addition to our house.  Very comfy.

Thank you for joining us today.  Stay safe and well and warm!

After the Snow Falls

And the Shoveling is Done

Hey!
What are you doing?
Playing in the snow, of course.
Tris is coming to join you! (laughing)
Good girl!
Hey, let's go around front!
Yeah!  I see the sun is shining!
Cool!
It is nice to see the sun.  It's been so bleh lately.
It's pretty.
Sure is. But I'm getting cold.  Time to head back inside.
Right behind you.
Who's up for some hot chocolate?
ME! (laughing)

Looks like Phil knew what he was talking about.  We had more snow this weekend  It was light and fluffy this time.  What is your favorite after snow treat?

Have a great week!  Stay safe and well and warm!

Grace and Groundhog Day

Grace's Birthday Party

If you've checked out Grace's Fun Factoids you may have wondered if we skipped celebrating her birthday. Nope.  She chose to have her party on Groundhog Day!

Tuning in to Gobbler's Knob

Punxsutawney is just a few minutes south of Coolspring and we've had fun finding all the Phil statues with our friends from Say Hello to My Little Friends.  It took quite a few visits; you can use the magic search box in the sidebar to search Phil to fine all the posts.  The second link is to my trip with Abby. Anyway we got up early to watch the virtual celebration of Groundhog Day and to see the real Phil!  We laughed at all the fun stuff that usually happens.  And think we might want to put it on our bucket list.
Xyra said she'd be okay at the back of the crowd if Franz brought a small propane heater to huddle around!

He's so cute!

Here he comes!

They do talk to him nicely.

And the prediction...

I think Phil was right.  It's still snowing!

Party Time

AMC played the movie Groundhog Day on a loop yesterday.  We had it on and watched it 4 times!

Lots of great food to share too.
Can you spot our groundhogs?

Happy Birthday (belated by choice), Grace!

Have you ever seen the movie Groundhog Day?  It wasn't really filmed in Punxsutawney.  They say the reason is they didn't think the town was quaint enough.  We think they're nuts.  Punxsy is a fun town with some interesting homes. Of course, the town they chose has more of a grid pattern to the streets - that Punxsy does not.

Thank you for partying with us!  Do you have any prediction traditions where you live?  We know there are more prognosticators out there besides Phil.

Stay safe and well and warm!
