Halloween 2013

Tea for Halloween

We forgot to tell you that yesterday we started the day off with the black raven tea. How could you not start Halloween off with anything but a cuppa named after a Poe work? For more information on that particular tea, check out our October 1 post. Or use the magic search box on our page to "search this blog" for black raven.

Last night was so much fun!

We got a little trick or treating in and helped Xyra at home. Both were cut short for us because it started to drain. That’s not a typo. You know how they created the word glamping for glamorous camping? Well, last night it wasn’t quite raining, but it was doing more than a drizzle. Maybe drizaining would be a better term since there is a “drain” already in the dictionary.

Either way it was too wet out for us so we stayed inside. We did get to see our one friend Miss Lex. She was dressed as cookie monster. Very cute. We hope she collected lots of goodies last night.

Here are a few pictures from last night. [Lanie, Me, Kirsten, Kaya]
Kirsten, Melody, try to arrange the Goldfish and the Pirate Booty so they can be seen easier as it gets dark.
Got it!
Will do!
Kaya, the pretzels look great.
Thanks.
I think we're ready.
This is fun!
Trick or Treat and Happy Halloween, everyone!
Shortly after this is when it started to drizain and we took cover.

Hope you had a great Holloween/Dollween.

What was your favorite part of the day?
What costume was good enough to make you say, “Wow!”

What is the best treat you received?

Best wishes!

  1. I don't go trick or treating, but my friend brought me some candy to school today.

    1. That's okay. I know quite a few people who don't trick or treat. It's nice of her to share. :)
