Experiencing Technical Difficulties

Have you ever had one of those days...

The ones where nothing seems to be going the way you want it to? Well, we're kind of having one of those today. For some reason the home laptop won't recognize the new camera. It did until just last week. Very frustrating.

I have an email in to Canon support and should hear back from them.

In the meantime, I went in through devices and printers and copied off the pictures I want for today. It may be late today when a photo story is posted.

I've

  • Tried all the USB ports on the laptop.
  • Reloaded the software.
  • Readjusted the settings. Here is the key, somehow the settings have been changed so that when connected it "takes no action". I reset that and the other programs so that everything should be aligned, but as soon as I close the window those shift back.

  1. Sorry you're having such a bad time with your computer and camera!! I know what you mean and how you feel. It frustrating when something that was working fine suddenly stops working!!

      Sometimes it is really hard to keep calm when frustrated. I did growl a bit this morning, but not too much.

    1. We ended up re-installing the software again, but I had to disable the antivirus first. Scary, but it worked.
