Wednesday Wonders #6

On the Third Day of Christmas

Kirsten, Melody, both

Hi! Today is the third day of Christmas and Kwanzaa and the fifth day of Hanukkah. Lots of celebrating going on.

We Reveal to You

Our Interpretation of The Parent Trap

There are two versions of The Parent Trap. We actually found inspiration in both movies. (giggles)
Here we go.

And here are the originals.

How did we do?

While we were in twin mode, we also thought we'd take on The Patty Duke Show.
Unlike The Parent Trap girls, the look-a-likes in The Patty Duke Show were cousins...identical cousins, Patty and Cathy.
How did we do with that one?

Blurbs

The Parent Trap
Twin sisters separated after their parents divorce meet at summer camp and plan to switch places to meet the parent they missed. The plan takes a turn when the girls find out dad is planning to remarry.

The Patty Duke Show
Cathy Lane comes to live with her uncle's family in Brooklyn Heights, NY. Cathy and Patty look alike, but are vastly different otherwise.

  1. Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to be a twin. I've seen The Patty Duke Show and The Parent Trap, (wow, they have a new Parent Trap in the future?) But I remember the first show I saw that made me think about twins was Please Don't Eat The Daisies, (even though the twins were boys). It must be weird, but kinda groovy to have someone else that looks exactly like you. I think Melody and Kirsten did a good job of being pretend twins.

  2. Being a twin is not that much fun! It probably depends on who your twin and your parents are though ;)
