Happy Halloween 2015

Happy Halloween!

Hi! Happy All Saints and All Souls Days, too! Yes, we're ever so slightly behind in posting our Halloween greeting and adventure. *sighs* We could barely get online long enough to do a real post on Halloween...however, if you follow us on Facebook, we did get a quick greeting out there.

Trick or Treat

Haley, Kaya, Kirsten, Lanie, Melody, 2 or more

Woo hoo! We're on our way!
It's weird starting while it's still light out.
Yeah, but it will be dark soon enough.
Are you sure you don't want a sweatshirt or something, Kirsten?
Nah, I'll be skating the whole way. That will keep me warm.
Okay. If you say so.
But if you start getting cold, let us know. I'll let you borrow the shawl.
Yeah, or my jacket. We have other layers on underneath.
Same goes for you, Lanie! I can't believe you're not wearing tights.
There is still time to put some on.
Please, it's so warm out; I'll be fine.
Hey, let's practice once...1, 2, 3
Trick or Treat!

[Later that night, back at the house...]

(teeth chattering) Thank you, Kaya!
Hey, no problem. Just remember next Southeastern PA the temperature drops super quickly when the sun goes down. At least, in the fall.
You know it!
Oh, nice! Tutu and Rascal are going to help us warm up.

Can you tell what or who our costumes are?

Did you go trick or treating? If yes, what is your favorite Halloween treat?

Best wishes,

  1. Is Kaya what I think she is????? (in other words, don't let Cassandra see!)

They all look cute. I got a chuckle out of them shivering under the blanket after, oh the joys of growing up in Pennsylvania!

    1. Yes, you guessed it! I'm a minion. :)

That email that goes around - You Know You're from Pennsylvania - is right on the money. Your Halloween costume can fit over a snowsuit (or at least many layers). :-D I wrapped up in 3 blankets while outside during the trick or treat hours.
