I had no idea it was Mardi Gras, better tell Cecile! My friend was just eating pancakes when I was talking to her and she said it was Pancake day.
We almost forgot about it too, but Nana Kestrel brought us the Fastnachts...It's really interesting how different cultures have different traditions for the day before Ash Wednesday.
