Kirsten Heads North Part 1

Day 1

PA to ME

Hi! Kirsten here! Ready to explain our radio silence for the past week plus. See we went on vacation. If you follow us on Facebook, you saw a few teaser photos. This week you get the full story.

Today is a teaser too. Mainly because the trip up was longer than usual. Lots of traffic along the route through New York, Connecticut, and Massachusetts. Xyra actually packed a lunch because last time it was hard to find quick food. Grace was along that time; and Kaya went shortly after.

We stopped once in New York to use the restroom. But crossing that bridge was when I thought about taking pictures. So here we go; just a couple of entering Maine.

Then we stopped to refuel and use the restroom again. When the back seat is also your trunk...
Can you tell Xyra likes Thirty-One products? (giggles)

It took longer than we expected to get up to Wiscasset so we quickly checked in, dropped off our bags, and headed back out to Sarah's Cafe. The view from the deck was lovely.

It's right across the street from Red's Eats, but we didn't get over there in time to get ice cream. Up north everything closes around 8. Red's was open until 9. Not what we are used to at all down in PA.
More tomorrow!

Thank you for stopping. Have a great Monday!
