For Humans Behind the Scenes

Model Transport

Stylish and Official

Have you ever had to make one or two or more trips from the house to a photo location with your models and props? Good exercise, but time consuming. I have a solution!

Viola!  The perfect bloggist's gear carrier. I added the blog name to make its use official.
It's a Thirty-One Large Utility Tote [I saw Target has something similar, but not as strong and can't be personalized] with additional lid and insert.

Everyone fits inside. [Melody aside: Sure if you don't mind feet in your face or hair - it's almost like playing sardines in here. (giggling)] The lid protects on rainy days.

The special insert adds 6 mesh pockets.  There are other ways to add zipper pockets if you want, but they aren't necessary.

All 5 models, the camera, a few props, and 6 pets (Starbright, Nutmeg, Lulu, Monk Seal, Razzie, and the ducklings complete with incubator) fit nicely inside. [Lanie aside: Seriously, Melody, when did you last wash  your feet?. (giggling)] Here it is repacked.
Would also be perfect for one model and all her gear for trips. We keep our AG boxed clothes in a few of these totes too.

If you are ever in southeastern PA and see this tote, feel free to come over and say hello.

Best wishes,

Note: Tea Time with Melody Q is not affiliated with American Girl. However, in this case, we are kind of affiliated with Thirty-One. Still the link provided is for educational and informational purposes; no purchase is suggested or required.

  2. I'll be in PA this summer :) This is so cute ! I had something similar from Personal Creations and I loved it . I don't think it had a lot of storage and was sturdy like yours .

    1. The base tote doesn't have much structure and folds flat easily, but is still great for outings. The ones I was using keep getting repacked with doll clothes, so now I have on specifically for outings. :)

    1. It's a bit bulky, but the handles will go over your shoulder like a duffle or purse.

  5. I have one of these, somewhat similar, it is used for beach towels but what a great new use for it! I love that the name of the blog is embroidered onto the bag, it looks so official and adorable!
