Kirsten Heads North Part 6

Head of St Margaret's Bay

Hi! Yes, I'm still reporting on my journey. Not too much remaining now. In fact today will be mostly photos. After Peggy's Cove we made our way over to our friends', G & G, house. It's a beautiful ride.

Mrs. made a wonderful lasagna for dinner with salad and homemade wheat rolls. Lemon meringue pie for dessert! Xyra was thrilled; it's her favorite. In the morning we had eggs and bacon with homemade wheat toast and strawberry jam and lunch was lobster salad sandwiches. So very tasty. At each meal we used cloth napkins.

This is the view from G & G's front porch. Grace showed it too you too, but it was colder when she was there.  I was comfy in a tee shirt.
I took a walk around Mr.'s garden. He had beautiful flowers.

And he sent one of his cucumbers with us. I'll tell you more about that later.

After lunch we headed off to Grand Pré. Mr. told us to look up a few things while we were there. Some very interesting history.

As I mentioned last week, Dorian hit this area and we hope it looks as pretty now as it did when we were there. Xyra's Howler friend in Dartmouth said there were many trees down and power out, but working Internet; and no lives lost. We're hoping that last number stayed the same.

Thank you for stopping. Have a great Tuesday!
