The Build: June 2019

A Trip to Wonderland

Hi! This is late! I was ready with the photos last week, but had to help Grace pack for Coolspring. 

She's going to take over the rest of the week so I figured I'd jump in today to show off our June LEGO calendar build.

This is another big one, but it is shorter or not as wide as May's.

Since this is Wonderland, our build moves from right to left not left to right. So over here we have the white rabbit and the tree.

Then Stephanie is standing in for Alice as she chooses doors at the "eat this" "drink me" table.

The Cheshire Cat is the only official Alice in Wonderland mini figure we have.

Here we have the tea party with the dormouse.

Over here is the flower garden. I know, they are out of order story line wise, but the flowers were too big to be in the middle.

We added the hedgehog to represent the croquet match.

Crowning the calendar is a metamorphosed Absalom...the caterpillar.

If you look closely in the garden you'll find rose bushes with red and white flowers.

On the one door is a heart to represent the queen of hearts. Uh, oh! Missy is checking it out. I hope she doesn't knock any leaves off the tree.

From above you can see the some of the details better. Did you find the pineapple? Yes, that and the arch are still incorporated in the calendar design.
