Call out to Crafters

Inspiration

The American Girl Agenda for April 30 was all about "cleaning out, clearing away, and keeping up" that plus home improvement projects here and some our friends are going through inspired us to really start looking at what has been tucked away in our house.

Supplies, If You're Interested

One of the things Xyra tackled was a stack of old denim. Mostly Franz's work jeans that were no longer fit for daily wear. So Xyra found the best spots and cut the backs off all the legs before disposing of the remainder.

We now have a lovely stack of denim that would be perfect for skirts, shorts, jeans, jackets, throw pillows, etc.
There are 12 sets here. All have been washed in hot water and dried in the dryer at least 30 times each, if not closer to 50. So the material is pre-shrunk and naturally distressed.
They are irregular in shape and length. The majority are cut from just under the back pocket to the ankle. There are a couple that are from carpenter pants and Xyra had to cut from the hammer loop or screwdriver pocket to ankle.

We have one set of full legs. These came from a pair of Xyra's favorite jeans that developed a hole in an unfortunate position.
They are pale, stretch denim.
If any of our crafty followers would like to have some of this denim, please feel free to contact us.
Leave a comment with your email address and how much you would like. Don't forget, we moderate comments, so your info will not be seen.

There is no cost for this denim. We'd send a minimum of 2 pieces.

Best wishes!

    1. Thank you. I'm certain we will have more to share as the sorting continues. :-)

    1. Yes, each piece has the hem at the bottom. I cut each from the ankle up the inside of the side seams and just under the pocket (or other), so three sides are smooth then the hem.
