AG and Barbie

There are some worried that Mattel is trying to change American Girl into a large Barbie doll. Overall, I don't think I agree with that statement. However, it seems that the design department prefers to think inside the box for both doll lines.

 AG Fans have seen and dissected and reviewed the new limited edition, in-store holiday gown.
Today, I saw the 2014 Holiday Barbie doll in a Barnes & Noble newsletter.
Red and gold seem to be the chosen colors for 2014.

 What are your thoughts on both gowns?

    I love the Ruby Holiday Gown! It is so cute! However the Barbie holiday gown I am not a big fan of. Some past ones I liked better. :)

      I always like to look at the holiday Barbie in the stores, but haven't ever felt the need to have one.

      The AG gown is very pretty.
