Getting in June Recap Before October Show!

Five Days of Fun!

Must confess, Melody and the others helped me with my report.  I'm not dearly this confident in identifying what was what!  Had a really great time exploring the museum grounds.  So any live, working exhibits!

We left early Wednesday.  It was an interesting trip and arrival.  After dinner, I took a tour around the grounds. 

Thursday Visitors

Thursday morning, Flo and Josh arrived.  

We checked out the progress on the new building on the hill.

Then hit the other buildings on the hill.  We made a Princess Bride connection in the Friends building.  Can you guess the quote from the photos?

Tooling around the grounds; Josh didn't mind my driving.  

We stopped at Sudlow Station for a drink.  Sadly, then it was time for them to head home.  Always fun making new friends.

And more exploration!  There is so much to see here between the main engine building and the surrounding buildings.

This was the original doctor's office.  

The doctor?  The first Dr. Harvey―the current Dr. Harvey's father.  Isn't that cool?  The current Dr. Harvey celebrated his 80th birthday this year!
