Welcome 2022

Happy New Year!

Wishing you and yours Happy New Year with a 2022 filled with positivity and kindness.

Back to the Advent Teas

Days 7 through 9

The day 7 tea was the Sweet Himalayan Detox Green Tea.  The reviews for it are really good.  we were a little wary of the "detox" part, but it turned out a-okay.  I was a nice tea.  Pleasant for a green; not grassy. It did not wow us.

Day 8 brought a Turmeric Ginger Herbal Tea Tisane.  Also okay.  As it got cold the ginger really popped.  A good sipping tisane.

Day 9.  Here I'll go into more detail.  Day 9 was the Assam Exotic Black tea.
Here is a look at the box and tin.

The leaves look nice.
This one was a wow tea.  We really enjoyed the full flavor.  It brewed nicely and resteeped well too. This one was a favorite.

Days 10 through 13 Plus!

Hello, Kirsten!  Happy St. Lucia Day!
Hi, Bevy!  Happy birthday!
Thank you!
I love your new jacket!
Me too!  It's kind of stiff, but I'm sure it will soften over time.  The butterflies are the best!
Happy birthday Gramma Enne too!
Let's get down to business.  We get to give brief reviews on teas 10 through 13.
Cool.  Let's see. Day 10 was the Vanilla Spiced Masala Chai.
Right. That one was really yummy!  We followed the instructions to simmer it with milk.  The vanilla wasn't overpowering and the spice was okay.
Day 11 was also yummy.  The Turmeric Ashwagandha Herbal Tisane.  The best of the turmerics and the best of the tisanes.
So true!  Day 12, the Earl Grey Masala Chai.  Also super yummy.  Again, we simmered it with milk.  The bergamot and spice balanced nicely.
Day 13 - today!  A Darjeeling Premium First Flush Black Tea.

This one has a lovely aroma and look even before steeping.

Yes, and was super yummy after steeping.  We didn't add anything, just sipped it plain.

Thank you for stopping by!  Please stop again for a final wrap up on our tea calendar.

Once, again, wishing you all the best for 2022!
