Tea Talk

Teas 14 through 24

Let's review the final 11 teas.
Sure sure.  Day 14 was the Lemon Spiced Green Tea.  It was good.  Not overwhelming in any flavors.  A good balance between lemon and spice.  Resteeped well.
Day 15 was the Kashmiri Kahwa Spiced Green Tea.  It was "meh."  Not a lot of flavor.  Was not bad and not wow.
Day 16, the Turmeric Moringa Herbal Tea Tisane.  Also okay, not wow.  A good sip that reheated well and resteeped well.
Day 17 was the Daily Darjeeling Second Flush Black Tea.  Quite yummy.  Good full flavor.  Resteeped well.  Very good plain.
Day 18 was the Moinga Tulsi Green Tea.  A nice mild green tea.  Good flavor.  Not a wow.
Day 19. Hmmm, well, honestly, we haven't tried this one yet.  It's the Turmeric Chamomile Herbal Tea Tisane.  Will give a fresh report after tasting, but as we're not fans of chamomile, could be a few days.
Day 20 the Ginger Masala Chai.  Oh, this was tasty.  We simmered it as directed in the milk.  the ginger was not overpowering.  A good balance of spice.  Very tasty.
Day 21 was the Turmeric Pepper Herbal Tea Tisane.  Spicy and flavorful.
Day 22 the Blooming Rose Black Tea.  Super yummy!  Nice, well-rounded flavor.  Steeped and re-steeped well.
Day 23 was the Chocolate Vanilla Herbal Tea Tisane.  We were wary at the title; however, the flavors balanced well and we did get a distinct chocolate flavor as well as the vanilla.  Tastier than we had anticipated.
Day 24...the last day...and another chamomile based blend.  This one was a Chamomile Mint Citrus Green Tea; and we haven't brewed this one yet either.  Chamomile is a calming tea and we mostly drink our tea first thing in the morning.  Will report on this one at a later date too.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for a wonderful gift!  We really enjoyed exploring the different blends and were surprised that we enjoyed most of them plain.  We learned we lean toward black teas over greens and tisanes.  The turmeric blends were interesting.

Have a great day!  Thank you for stopping by!
