A Stormy Day

When Isaias Hit

What a stormy day?!
Glad we are inside.
How long is this supposed to last?
Not sure.  It depends on what station you listen to.
Oh, I have an idea.
Let's go.

We Were Lucky

Our back yard.

We got a little water in the basement, but know others who were hit a lot worse.

Keeping Busy

What are you working on?
Meatloaf's latest rail adventure.
Cool.
Yeah.  I'm glad I could save it.
Not ready to publish?
Sort of.  The Internet just blinked out.
Ugh!
What are you guys up to?
Something for National Doll Day.
That was Sunday.
Yeah, so?!
Good point.
Have fun!

Our Dolls

Let's set them up here.
Good idea.  Mine are set.
Now yours, Peni.  And yours, Mel.
Very good. Photo time.

Oh! Fix Lucy. She's not looking at the camera and possible wardrobe malfunction.
Yes, absolutely!
Much better.
Happy belated National Doll Day!

Next

What are you three doing?
Remember that comment a while back?
The one about magic?
Yeah.
Well...
Ah!

Here we go.
Let's put this here and that there.
Not sure.
Switch it.
Very nice.
Which version do you like best? You know what book/movie title we're creating?

Just Hanging Out

End of the Day

Wow! What a difference.

Yes, a gorgeous end to a stormy day.

We hope you had a nice week and that Tuesday wasn't too stormy for you.

Best wishes!

  1. Dear Children, what fun you have been having. I love your celebration of National Doll Day. I am glad that the storm was not so bad where you are.

I look forward to reading about more of your adventures.

    1. Hi, Ms. Dorothy! Yes, we know how to entertain ourselves really well. We did have it easy just a few miles from us they were not as lucky. We have branch creeks to the Perkiomen and Schuylkill all over than they do flood easily. Along the Perk are homes that are now year round homes but were originally vacation homes or the wealthy.

  2. Looks like the gang kept busy during the bad weather! Fortunately we didn't get it on this side of the state like you did. And the book..."The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe?"

    1. Hoping you didn't get any of the straight line winds last week.
      Yes! Correct book!
