In Memoriam: Our Favorite Drummer

Sad News for RUSH Fans

Friday we received the sad news that RUSH drummer, Neil Peart, passed away on January 7.
He battled glioblastoma or brain cancer. 
Since then we have been trying to figure out a fitting tribute. 

He's not concerned with yesterday.
He's dined on honeydew.
He's a spirit breaking free.
His memory is written in the wind, but is not fading away like an hourglass.
There is a shadow on the road behind; nothing can stop you now.

Our hearts ache for Neil's family and friends. We send our loving thoughts, prayers, and vibes to them as they process their grief and shoulder their invisible load. Know you are not alone.

Hello! January 8, 2013 the date of the very first Tea Time with Melody Q post.
Our family has grown from 4 to 8!
So today we share this greeting...

2019 has come to a close. It was filled with ups and downs and a multitude of changes. 
We're so thankful for your continued support.

Penel's First Road Trip

Starting Early

Hey, Peni! I heard you're going on a road trip.

Destination Reached

First we were at the train hub, but that was closed.

It was so nice out we didn't need heavy coats! 

I went exploring while we waited.

Then we found the Roundhouse Museum and parked there.

We went through the Train Room.

Then back to the Roundhouse Museum for a real walk through.

A fun day! We stopped at Sheetz on the way home for lunch.

I had a fun day. I'm looking forward to more trips like this one.
