Babysitting Duty

All babysitters know the day can go well, be terrible, or a bit of both.

The other day we were watching Star and she seemed on the edge of becoming fussy.

We decided to sing her a little song.

He was once a little green slab of clay...Gumby

You should see what Gumby can do today.

He can walk into any book

With his pony pal Pokey too.

If you have a heart, then Gumby is a part of you.

Do do d-do do do.  Gumby!

Delicious Food & Fun Songs

German Dinner at Little Zion!

Hi, all!

Not as many photos on this post as Melody's, but just as much fun!

Saturday night our church sponsored a German themed dinner.  What a menu!  Pretzels from Philly Pretzel Factory, pulled pork, bratwurst, meatballs, hot dogs, sauerkraut, mashed potatoes, corn, applesauce, and salad.  Followed by apple crisp. And to drink...birch beer!

During dinner, we found out one of our church friend's father was a signal maintainer out in Altoona!  And we talked PA slang like youse and yenz.  (giggles)

After dinner, Dave Kline provided a wonderful program of Pennsylvania Dutch songs.  There was yodeling and groundhogs and fun stories.

When You Wish Upon A Star

You Go to The Franklin Institute

And the Disney 100 Exhibit

This was so much fun! Last Saturday Xyra, Nonna, Lady NoTea, and I left early in the morning and headed to Philly and The Franklin Institute to see the Disney 100 exhibit.  

Oh, before I get into the details two things.  

1) In the past I've shared links, however, I've noticed when an event ends the link goes to dead space.  So, you'll have ato search Disney 100 on your own.  BUT I will give you the link the Franklin Institute.  :-) Okay, okay!  Here is the one for Disney 100 too - but only once. 

2) This may end up being a bit of a photo dump.  So many fun things and a picture is worth 1,000 words. 

So let the trip begin!
