Hi! One of our favorite movies is celebrating a milestone today. Legally Blonde turns 15.
Reese Witherspoon shared a request for fans to wear pink today.
And also post photos wearing pink, with their pet, or of their law degree with the tag #LegallyBlonde15.
We don't have any law degrees...(giggles)
But we put on our pink...
And Caramelotta volunteered to pose with us.
Appropriately in a pink purse.

Elle Woods, you're awesome!
You broke out of the box someone filed you in.

Home Again!

Every trip comes to an end. It was fun to be away and meet new people, but it's also nice to come home to my own bed and shower. Not to mention my sisters are our furry friends.

This time we went into Punxsutawney for breakfast. Guess what?! Blueberry pancakes. Yum! When we got back to the museum we finished packing everything up and headed home. It's a long ride 4 - 4 1/2 hours.

Yay! Home!

Quick note - if you've been following Lanie's garden updates, our Coolspring trip was before the groundhog started visiting. You can see the lovely lettuce behind me.

Day Three

More Exploring

Saturday at Coolspring is a little less packed than Friday. So I could explore the grounds more. But you want to get there early in the day; a lot of people head home Saturday.

After breakfast, boy do I love those blueberry pancakes, I helped with tent-keeping.

It felt nice in the shade.

While walking over to the Power Tech Annex I finally saw "the Jeep." (giggles) 

I'm not sure what the others see in it. This golf cart is more my speed.

Something caught my eye and I found the Hornsby-Akroyd.

I hiked up the hill to the Friends Exhibition building and found the Blackstone.

It's really interesting.

On the other side of the building a pretty red engine called me over.

It's a Backus.

This engine has an interesting hood over the governor.

You can find snacks up in the Friends building. Candy and Timbits and apples. 

It's a nice place to rest. I'll have to remind Xyra she should show Flo this building in the fall.

Pat's Place has this green Ruston among other engines.

And behind that is a new pavilion!

This will be fun when it's filled.

We stopped in Sudlow Station on the way back down the hill. 

It wasn't running, but it was nice to look at for awhile.

Day Two

Meandering

Hi! My second day at Coolspring had much better weather, but boy did it get hot in the sun. After another great breakfast from Villela's Meats I went walking around the flea market again. Found two really awesome things!

First, I found a great outfit. 

It comes with a shirt, panties, shorts, jeans, beret, socks, sandals, and sneakers! Don't worry we won't wear the socks with the sandals. (giggles)

I love the pattern in the shirt. 

It will be perfect for Independence Day!

Then I found this great camera!

Isn't it cool?

I put everything away and turned around to see our neighbor's little pup enjoying the sun.

Doesn't she have great eyes?

We had dinner from the Community Center. Spaghetti and meatballs. Super yummy! Blueberry cobbler too.

Later that night we went up the hill to Exley Station. The largest engine in the museum is there; it's a 600 hp Snow and has scheduled run times. Xyra said we'd be up there until after dark so I grabbed my sweatshirt.
