Trolls at the Philly Zoo

Oldest Zoo in the United States

This past spring artist Thomas Dambo's Trolls: Save the Humans exhibit opened at the Philadelphia Zoo.  Lady Vanyer asked Lady Webby and Xyra if they wanted to go with her.  Of course, they said yes!  And I asked if I could join the fun.

[Side note:  since the exhibit has closed, we aren't adding in any links.  Please feel free to search the artist and the Philadelphia Zoo if interested.  ☺]

We started the day with brunch at the Founding Farmers in King of Prussia.  Home of the pink goat art work.  Yummy!  Then it was off to the zoo.

During our visit there were two searches:  one - the trolls and two - fairy trail!  We found all the trolls but only a few of the fairy doors.   We didn't quite find the trolls in order, but had fun finding them and visiting the residents of the zoo.

Follow our journey throughout the day.  We had a lot of fun!

Loved the Andean bear; chowing down on a pumpkin.  The flamingos made me think of Nana Kestrel.

Can you spot the rhino?

Penguins!

Giraffes!

Our blues match!

Trolls

Tree climbing and fairy door!

A fake cow in with the owls.

This gnome seems to be an Easter decoration they missed putting away.

Lady Webby's triceratops.

The otters frolicking!

This troll was hanging birdhouses.

Tropical birds...it was hot and sticky in there; felt like July.

Carousel

Big cats!  Here kitty kitty!  The tiger was walking toward me.  The lions enjoying the sun.

The last fairy door we found and the last troll.

The last shots before heading home.

Such a fun day!  Which was your favorite photo?
