Happy Birthday...
The shops along the main route in Boyertown PA put together their 2nd Annual Wizarding Weekend to celebrate the Harry Potter's birthday!
I donned my Ravenclaw uniform and we headed out. The first stop was Semper Pie for some backed goods. We got a happy Birthday Harry chocolate cheesecake, a golden snitch cake pop, and a pumpkin pasty.
Then it was over to BrickWorks! We checked out the big bin, the sets for sale, and made a mini figure.
The Peppermint Stick was Honeydukes central. We bought our token and went out to make a candy potion.
At Bridget's we found these adorable magical creatures. The tiny, blue octopus came home with us.
At the historical society I got to pose with a couple of bears like the Phils in Punxsutawney.
Then off to the Book Nook! Great photo opportunities there.
The next stop was Brakeman's Cafe for a bit of refreshment. We picked up a Gillyweed Elixer. Very tasty.
More photo opportunities! I got to help Dobby with his socks and board Platform 9 3/4! Dumbledore gave us a bit of advice and we stayed out of reach or the womping willow.
Down at Stellar we found Professor Umbridge's office.
We had a fantastic lunch at the Grill shop.
At Becker I tried to catch my Hogwarts letter in the Dursley's living room.

Henny Faire is an artisan perfumer. You could make a potion here. We didn't make a potion, but we found a fun book.
Around the corner we were heading back to our car and realized there was one more place to visit. Breezeway 1800 was decorated like the chamber of secrets. They made a cave and tunnel of the entrance which opened up to a style salon and a gift shop. Was neat to shop here; Xyra found a fun bracelet.
Felt good to get in the car and sit. We shared the pumpkin pasty from Semper Pie! YUMMY!
What better way to wash down a pumpkin pasty than with ice cream from Longacres. We stopped at the dairy on our way home. What is your favorite ice cream flavor?
A great day! We had so much fun to celebrate our favorite magical world and we're getting this posted just in time for Back to Hogwarts day, September 1.
