The Newest Silverleaf

Joclin Audrey Silverleaf

Hi!  I'm Joclin.  I joined the Silverleaf family on February 20, 2024.  These photos are from my first few days with the Tea Time crew.  They have a fabulous wardrobe.  The first couple outfits were chose for the shoot locations.

Animal Print Wednesday

Plaid Thursday

I had my first boba too!

Joclin's Version

This third outfit is my favorite.  I just went through everything in the closet and found pieces that spoke directly to me.

Which is your favorite outfit?

Xyra's Notes

Joclin is an American Girl TM 54.  Her character represents all of my fabulous best friends.  One of the reasons we are behind posting is we are working on Joclin's Fun Factoids.  Polling 15-16 women takes some time. 😁  You can guess one factoid - favorite color - by the font color above.

Hot and Humid - Think Snow

Everyone from Tea Time with Melody Q wishes you and your family a blessed Memorial Day.  We remember all those who have given their lives in service to the country.

Still Reporting February!

First, to Cool You

We've been having some high temps and humidity.  Seemed rather summer like.

Summer starts June 21!

Yes, Memorial Day is the un-official start to summer.  When looking back over the events we need to report we found Lanie's snow photos from February 13 and had to share!

Road Trip

Xyra, Nonna, Trinity, and I headed to Delaware to meet up with Kim, KJ and MJ.  The trip worked best with friends!  Franz was relieved Xyra and I weren't going alone.

At the start of the day, it was relatively warm for February, (after Lanie's snow it got warm and the snow melted quickly) but by the time we arrived at Texas Roadhouse the breeze had picked up and temperature had dropped and it was cold!

We had a yummy dinner and great visit.  Then it was back to PA.  Xyra pulled into our driveway at 12:53 AM.  We brought our new friend upstairs and went to bed.

Check out our next post to meet Joclin Audrey Silverleaf.

Thank you for stopping!  Have a great day! Come again, soon!

2024 the Year of the Dragon

Still February

Belated Happy Lunar New Year!

As you can imagine, we're always up for a tea party.  Especially with Nonna and her crew!  Nonna invited us to her house to celebrate Lunar New Year.  We moved from the year of the rabbit to the year of the dragon.

It was my turn to look after the dragon egg Tina brought back from Nevada, so i carefully packed it and took it with us to the tea party.

While showing it to Chrissy and Karen I felt something strange.

Then she popped out!

SOOOOOOO CUTE! 💗

Isn't she adorable?!  And her name...Iolanthe.  That's pronounced I-oh-lan-thee or I-oh-lan-tee.  It means "violet flower" in Greek.  It's also the name of the main character of a Gilbert & Sullivan operetta; the character is a fairy who marries a mortal, etc. etc.  A good story; hope you check it out.

The violet flower definitely fits!!

To quote Hagrid. "Fascinating but misunderstood beasts, Harry.  Fascinating but misunderstood."

Xyra's Note

We adopted our dragon egg from OrbWeaver3D LLC.  Check out their website and/or Facebook page to see if there are any adoptions available.  If you do choose to adopt, please let them know you heard about them from Tea Time with Melody Q.

Have a great day!
